No. It’s a lightly sparkling soft drink with just enough caffeine. A classic energy drink has about 80 mg per can, four times as much.

It has little caffeine, so plenty of people drink it in the afternoon. If you’re sensitive to caffeine, avoid it in the hours before bed.

It’s our idea of a soft drink: sparkling yerba mate, just enough caffeine from a natural source, lion’s mane and fruit, with no sugar.
